How true--there is always someone with less! I saw such poverty in India--families living in shacks and children with no shoes on their feet and no access to medical care if they became ill. In this country, we also have many people who have no health insurance and can't afford to take their children to the dentist, or who, having lost jobs, struggle to put food on the table.

I am grateful for so many things this Thanksgiving Day. I have shelter and my family nearby, but most of all, I am grateful for my health, and for the fact that I had access to education while growing up. Health and education make all the difference in what someone is able to accomplish in life!

Thanks for this wonderful blog.
